Just minutes outside of Republic, the Pacific Northwest Trail winds its way through dense stands of Ponderosa pines and over lush meadows full of lupine and grasses. The trail begins in the Olympic Mountains far west of Republic and can take you all the way to the crest of the Rocky Mountains. Some may not know that popular local trails, like the Thirteen Mile Trail and the Kettle Crest Trail are part of the larger Pacific Northwest Trail system.

To find out more about the Pacific Northwest Trail system in our area, visit the Northeast Washington Trails website. Or, find out more about the entire Pacific Northwest Trail on their website.
