CITY OF REPUBLIC DEC. 10, 2007 RECESSED MEETING

Those Present: Mayor Couse. Council Members: Linda Hall, Jim Burnside and Dave Michel.
Ferry County Commissioners: Brad Miller, Joe Bond and Mike Blankenship.
Guests: Deana Zakar and Brenda Starkey.

Mayor Couse opened the recessed meeting at 8:00 a.m. at the Ferry County Commissioners office. Commissioner Brad Miller opened the Joint Public Hearing between Ferry County and The City of Republic to hear comment on the $50,000.00 CDBG Planning Only Grant for the Pine Grove water system. Hearing no comment Commissioner Brad Miller called for a motion to approve the Ferry County Resolution #2007-49 for the Joint CDBG Planning Only Grant to update the Pine Grove Water project. Mike Blankenship moved to approve Resolution #2007-49. Joe Bond seconded; motion carried. Mayor Couse called for a motion to approve the City of Republic’s Resolution #2007-14 for the Joint CDBG Planning Only Grant to update the Pine Grove Water project. Dave Michel moved to approve Resolution #2007-14. Jim Burnside seconded; motion carried. Mayor Couse closed the Public Hearing at 8:13 a.m.

Dave Michel moved to adjourn the recessed meeting. Jim Burnside seconded; motion carried.

The recessed meeting adjourned at 8:15 a.m.
