CITY OF REPUBLIC NOV. 10, 2008 SPECIAL MEETING

Those present: Mayor Shirley A. Couse. Council Members: Linda Hall, Jim Burnside, Alex Wirt, and DiAnne Hewitt. Guests Present were: Sedate Bretthauer, Brenda Starkey, Cleve Ives, Kathleen McCoy, Rex Schutt, Fred Lee, Larry Heming, Mel Smith, Sharon Smith, DeDe Peters, Kip Chesterfield, Darla Newman, Stan Christie, Jake Miller, Jim Schumaker, Derry Greeson, Jacob & Amanda Burbank, Chris Burnside, Clifford Cahoon, Judy Jeffery, Jacob Tresham, Ellen Picken, Loni Simone, Russ Foster, Michael Sternberl, Randy Hotchkiss, Jeanie Berkel, Shawn Orestad, Rick Kincaid, Dan Donley, Rob Adams, Jesse Adams, Jeanne Nixon, Clark Strubar, Stephen Gorton, Kate Meginley, Steve Anthes, Rusty Summy, Jana Bacon, Llois Copelan, Dennis Worth, Jesse Wagner and Rachel Siracuse.

Mayor Couse stated that this meeting was not a discussion and everyone would be treated equally and with respect. The meeting is for citizen comments on the ORV’s and no answer will be given. The meeting will last for 1 hour and who ever wishes to speak may do so but everyone will be limited to 3 minutes each.

There were 44 citizens present. 17 citizens spoke regarding the ORVs. Mayor Couse stated that letters had been received into City Hall and could be viewed if anyone wants to.

Mayor Couse closed the special meeting at 7:03p.m.
